From time to time you will come across a blogger who wants to prevent their Blogspot blog from appearing on search engines. Under the “listing’ and ‘let search engines find your blog’ settings in Blogger they have chosen no for both of the following:

“Add your blog to our listings” and “Let search engines find your blog”, yet still their blog can be found listed on Google.

Normally to prevent your blog from being indexed you would use a robot.tx file to block Googlebot from crawling your blog.

Blogger users cannot upload a robots.txt file to prevent Google bot from crawling their site.

Instead, they can use the robots meta tag to exclude their blog from being listed in Google’s search results.

A question I see frequently asked on the Blogger Help Group is how does one go about permanently removing the pencil, screwdriver and spanner (wrench) quick editing icons from Blogger. Personally, I don’t mind them being there. If you however would like to remove them, here’s how:

Go to your ‘profile page’ or a ‘fellow bloggers profile page‘ and click on any of the ‘interests’ that you have filled out in your profile. Those interests are linked to a page of other bloggers with the same interests as you.

We’ve talked about strange things done with bacon here before on my blog. Last August I told you all about the chunky bacon ice cream cone that you can get in Delaware and in June I told you about the bacon art collection by Victoria Reynolds.

Today I would like to bring your attention to Chocolate-coated bacon. Wertz candies has created a Chocolate- coated bacon called “pig lickers.” It’s a strip of bacon covered with dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt and served cold. I think I’ll pass. (Story here.. Smell that bacon in Chocolate.)

Bacon is so popular that they are even putting it in cookies. (See for yourself! Bacon chocolate chip cookies)

getinmebelly made some Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies and they said they were delicious. I don’t know. What do you think?

I like Chocolate and I like bacon. I even like cookies, but I don’t know about them all together.

My life is in a state of chaos and change right now. I have experienced many sleepless nights and I go from frequent tears to outbursts of anger. The past week has been like a bad dream. As difficult as my situation is right now, I keep believing that there is a rainbow after a storm.

Sorry I have been absent lately. I have been busy, busy, busy!

I was suppose to have a skin tag removed from my neck today, but the doctor canceled all his appointments. He canceled them all, accept mine that is. He forgot to call and me and I went to the office where we were suppose to meet and sat 30 min waiting for him. The secretary finally tells me he is not in today to call him at his office.
